Rain, Rain, Rain

Yes it rained!
And then it rained again.
The rangers were telling
people they may
want to leave.

After the rain, Sara, Lauren and Sandi were soaked to the bone.

Strawberry Park

Here is our site all set for the weekend.

Dave and Sharon didn't bring their camper,
they brought their whole house!

Ah, camping, the great outdoors, trees, birds,
a railroad in a garden?
What kind of campground is this?

Well, we played BINGO
but we didn't win.

A Saturday night at Strawberry Park playing cards.

On the River Again!

What a bunch of Gypsies!
Here we are back on the River.

Any great trip is governed by the food and those
who cook it. Sandi and I are bringing back
child labor.

Early morning coffee and hot chocolate.

Sara and Lauren are doing a wonderful job of cooking.

Yes, I taught them the secret to my camp potatoes.

Heading out to the River.

After three outings into the river and hundreds of

casts I can safely say one catch. The fish won this one.

Tubing has really become a new tradition on the River. Sandi, Sara and Lauren

Ran the River from the Covered Bridge to our campsite.

"Now girls, if you want to learn how to do this......."

Lucky for me it was Father's Day!

Well the ride home wasn't bad either.

Oh yea, my favorite part of any trip!

Cabela's - Hamburg, PA

Greetings!
I decided I needed a new pair of hiking boots so Sandi and I went shopping. How do we go shopping? Well first we hook up the Airstream, wait for it to rain and then go!

We headed down to Hamburg, PA to our favorit store, Cabela's. The only place where the wild animals roam free inside!

Belle came along with us on this trip and they had a wonderful kennel waiting for her! Yes, that's our Airstream in the lot at Cablea's.

After a long morning of driving and shopping all day, Belle was exhausted!

That's me getting things ready for the night. You will notice that Sandi got more of the Airstream than me in the picture.

Planning our Yellowstone trip has become a major undertaking and Sandi works at it full time. The more we travel the more we learn and it has been lots of fun.

It doesn't happen too often but it's always nice to see a fellow Airstreamer. Here is a 1984 Sovereign in the site next to ours.

Well it was finally our time! After two Ford Explorers and three Tahoes, we finally got a flat tire! On the New Jersey Turnpike with Belle and the Airstream! The onboard tire system gave us a warning of low tire pressure and then all sorts of bells and lights went off giving us plenty of time to get off the road and save our tire.

And here we are getting the flat fixed and back on the road.
