Sandi and I headed up to Great East Lake this past weekend and camped at Lake Forest where we were married last June. Anytime in Wakefield is wonderfull but the autumn is even more so. We went up just the two of us and were hoping to get in some canoe time but the lake was roaring.
It is always amazing how clear the water is in the lake. We had temps in the mid 50's during the day and quite chilly at night. Dave left us a supply of firewood for Saturday night and we had a nice dinner of chicken on the grill along with some very nice vegetable bread we found at the local grocery shop. Wakefield is a great little town and we do mean little. No Burger King, Wal-Mart or Home Depot. A perfect New England Town.
It was a nice afternoon to sit by the lake but not be on it. We were looking forward to exploring it but we will always have next year.

No we didn't buy another camper! I had to post this one for my cousin Andre' since he is looking for a new project we thought this would be perfect for him.
