As anyone who follows Sandi and I around know, we have been known to camp, travel and vacation in some of the worst weather. Well last night was no exception. Thats me standing in the yellow cap and Sandi sitting next to me. We invited Jody and Mellisa to join us for an evening outdoor concert with REO and Styx. No surprise, it rained.
To say it rained would be an understatement. We arrived early to black skies and lightening and had to actually stay in the car while ice-cube sized hail pounded everyone and everything.
REO did open the show be it an hour late and played for 25 minutes till the storms became violent and they had to stop. Eventually Sandi and I gave up and headed home. Jody and Mellisa were caught up in the traffic jam of concert goers heading out and half an hour still in traffic word went out that Styx was going to play and they stayed.
