We have waited all winter for our first trip out this year and we made it to Brattleboro, VT. Sandi and I headed north on Friday May 12th in pouring rain making the drive a little longer than normal. It rained Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Flooding, rivers cresting, roads flooded and record amounts of rain. Nothing out of the normal if you have ever gone camping with us before.
Of course the weather forcasters always leave a little room for error, so they kept forcasting rain at 80% even thought they couldn't leave the studios because of street flooding.We had a very nice weekend just the two of us with plenty of movies, snacks and drink. We will be heading out again for Memorial Day weekend so please do not make any outdoor plans!
