Fisherman's Island

Just getting settled in, the Safari front left and the Tradewind in the back.

Here is the center of our sites together where friends will be gathering.

We were able to borrow Amanda's guitar for the evening.

Sandi with some of our NEU friends during the diner gathering.

Sunday in PA

On Sundays in PA there are a lot of things closed but still some fun things to do. We decided we were going to head into Adamstown to do some antiqueing.

Surprise! The top door hinge broke so opening the fridge became a two person job. We will need to get this repaired ASAP.

Looks like we will be living out of a cooler next weekend till a new door comes in.

Hamburg, PA

We have a wonderful view of the PA countryside right from our site. This is the seconf time we have camped here and its a very clean campground, alows on RV's with not tent site. They have all the baic needs with nothing fancy. We like this campground for its location.

Once again we are the only Airstream here.

Well it took me long enough but our Airstream Cribbage board is no finished and standard equipment in our rig. We secured all the parts from the Airstream Plant in JC on our last visit. The aluminum was from a vista windoe cutout, and all the buck rivits and interior rivits along with the nameplate are right off the plant floor.

Happy hour at 3411!

And we had Belle with us in this trip, which she just loves traveling with us.

Cabela's

Once again off we are to one of our favorite shopping spots, Cablea's. We have only a few items on our shopping list this trip, but any excuse to head to Hamburg!

Of course Belle kept want to know "Are we there yet?"

Jimmy, Gerogia, Costa and Rhea gave us a very generous wedding gift to Cabela's which we were very happy to receive.

This trip, Belle had company in the kennell.

Caving in New York

Arriving in the Historic Catskill Mountains hoping for cooler weather.

Unfortunatly, it was 95 and climbing.

Emma came over Sunday morning to help with our big breakfast.

Here is Rich, the brave one, going into the cave first.

One last final check of their gear before heading in.

Sandi walking the river through Perry Avenue. Water temps below 50 while we estimated cave temp at 48.

Taking a quick warming rest, Emma, Rich and Elanore.

Just one of the tight spots and this one wasn't a bad one. We couldn't take any photos in the smaller crawls for obvious reasons.

Coming out of a crawl into a comfortable sized cavern. In this cave a cavern is defined as any space you can stand

Found some great rock formations on a slide which is one of the places we actually found by mistake. It turned out to be a dead end but well worth the extra effort.

Four and a half hours later we had explored 80% of the cave. Emma and Elanore left us at the halway point before we got into the harder part of the cave. Soaked up to our necks in mud, rock and cold water we had a great exploration.

Grey Fox Music Festival

A veiw from the top of the hill.

A very cool 1962 all original Bambi!

The Hill!

Donal playing a Martin for the first time.

Getting a few pointers from Jody.

From where we had our Airstreams camped on the hill we had a wonderful view of the

New York coutry-side.

The Duhks, a wonderful band from Canada. Jody and I will soon becoming good friends with them after their record producers stopped by and introduced himself.

Scussett Beach

We had all types of weather this weekend.

Since open fires were not allowed Sandi and Robin made a special campfire!

This is the stained glass panel we commisioned for Robin as a special thank you for all her hard work as our wedding Planner.

Sandi, Robin and Kathy who made the panel.

Sandi and Belle walking along the canal.

Another wonderful sunset on the ocean.

Kennebunkport

Last Full Day

Get your tickets here folks!

The waterslide, as you can see people were getting wet without
getting on the ride.
A wonderful Merry-Go-Round.

Which went really fast!

Sure happy we were here before the season starts!

Sandi at our campground. It was a great week at a very nice place.

A very peaceful fully stocked pond with paddle boats.

We even made a few friends this week.
